Creative individuals are assets to any society, and hence the individuals with creative talents be identified early and nourished to help the progress of people. Identifying the importance of creativity, a study has been undertaken to study the creativity of adolescents. The present study identified that sex and locality did not have any influence on creativity, but class/grade has its influence on it. High and low creatives differed significantly on the personality factors. High creatives were more intelligent, were characterized by the habit of frequent reading, liked to do things in habit of frequent reading, liked to do things in a new way, and belonged to higher socio-economic strata. This study will help researchers, teachers, policy planners and educational administrators in including and nourishing creativity as it helps in the-progress of mankind.
