The first chapter of the book opens the tapestry of the concept of disabilities and inclusive education. There is a separate chapter for each of the twenty one types of disabilities which covers the important aspects such as concept, characteristics, causes, prevalence, identifying or diagnosing, signs and symptoms and strategies for coping and teaching.
