This books seems to have embarked on an endeavour to disseminate what he knows about twenty one types of disabilities, the problems of children with disabilities and more importantly about how to teach the children with disabilities, to the present as well as the coming generations of teachers so that they can do their best for the children with various disabilities who are also an integral part of our human resource. The first chapter of the book opens the tapestry of the concept of disabilities and inclusive education. There is a separate chapter for each of the twenty one types of disabilities which covers the important aspects such as concept, characteristics, causes, prevalence, identifying or diagnosing, signs and symptoms and strategies for coping and teaching. Each chapter is complemented with a list of references for further plunge and probe.
