Algebra is one of the main branches of mathematics, concerning the study of structure, relation and quantity. Elementary algebra is often a part of the curriculum in secondary education and provides an introduction to the basic ideas in Algebra, including effects of adding and multiplying numbers, the concept of variables, polynomials, along with factorisation and determining their roots. Algebra is in fact much broader than elementary algebra and can be generalised. In addition to working directly, with numbers that algebra covers, while working with symbols, variables and set elements. Addition and multiplication are viewed as general operations, and their precise definitions lead to structures, such as groups, rings and fields.
Applied Algebra is the most useful form of Algebra. It is taught to students, who are presumed to have no basic knowledge of Algebra and are supposed to use Algebra, as a secondary subject in their study first, and profession later.
Although, there are many a good book on the subject, yet there is a demand for a precised book on Applied Algebra. So, we have made this humble effort to fill the same gap. Expectedly, this effort should prove to be beneficial for the students, teachers and general readers.
