Reservoir fisheries of India is important from socio-economic points, as it has opportunity to provide employment rural people engaged directly or indirectly in reservoir fisheries. Considering the importance of this man made resource, an attempt has been made to document the detailed account on fish and fisheries, plankton diversity and physico-chemical environment of Harni (Katgaon) reservoir, a medium sized reservoir in backward area of Osmanabad district of Maharashtra.
