Fourth chapter deals with methods of preparation, properties and reactions of aldehydes and ketones and some important name reactions. Fifth chapter deals with methods of preparation, properties and reactions of carboxylic acids and aliphatic amines, including basicity of amines and acidity of carboxylic acids. It also includes structures and uses of some important organic compounds.
